Hey there! I’m Jake, co-founder of the Midwest Music Collective. I’m currently a student at the University of Wisconsin-Stout located in Menomonie, WI, studying Professional Communication and Emerging Media, with a concentration in Applied Journalism.
I have an extreme passion for music, and that’s why I wanted to start this project. I currently play bass in a band called Pets With People Names, and love local music. I wanted to create an outlet for people to see that the scene isn’t dead, you just need to open your eyes a little bit.
I hope that you enjoy all the work we’ve put into this project, and we hope that it helps the talent in the midwest get the recognition it deserves.
