Minneapolis post-hardcore act Villain of the Story released a lyric video last night for their politically charged new single “Break the Chains.” This marks the first brand new song from the band since the release of their debut EP The Prologue, which came out last March and featured the breakout singles “A Life Worth Living” and “The Phantom.”
The new song is a much darker, heavier, deviation of Villain of the Story’s usual sound, and the lyric video produced by Ben Drake matches it accordingly. Check out the song below and tell us what you think!
