Nearly a full year since parting ways, Minneapolis pop-punk band Molly’s Worst Enemy are making waves once again with the announcement that the band will be reforming its original lineup to play The New Direction’s final show.
The Fargo, ND punk venue announced last month that after five years of hosting local shows, they would be closing its doors. The two closing shows set for September 23rd and 24th. Following the reveal of the last two shows, photographer Graham Gardner reached out to Molly’s Worst Enemy and asked if the defunct emo band would be willing to make one last appearance at the shows to honor the closing venue.
In response the band reached out to their twitter followers with an offer fans of the beloved DIY act couldn’t refuse…
It only took followers eight days to gather the 420 retweets required and in this followup tweet from the band, it looks like they will be keeping up their end of the bargain…
The New Direction had responded as well officially adding them to the bill for the September 23rd date alongside local favorites Tiny Moving Parts, Infinite Me, Unturned, Atrocities, High Hopes, and Remember Me. You’re not gonna wanna miss this banger of a night.
